Cops seem to have the upper hand.

Now is the perfect time for Trump, who has so far completely failed to do so, to show up and display some actual leadership.
Because so far it sounds like he's just sitting in the White House furiously jerking off to CNN.

I approve the use of all lethal methods to get the protesters away from the capital. Kill as many as you can. Non-lethal as a last resort only.

I was saying just yesterday that Donald Trump will never be criminally prosecuted.

After today, I don't see how the Republic can truly survive without that happening.

He told these people to march on the Capitol. They did. This is open sedition. It absolutely is not going to work, because Trump is an incompetent moron, but still. The attempt was made, and no matter how piss poor, needs to be prosecuted.

Why has the Cabinet refused to remove him from office under the 25th Amendment?

i started the day feeling so hopeful. even watching mitch mcconnell speak gave me hope, because he was saying how dangerous the entire idea of seditious ted and co have to object is, pointing out that the entire concerns were fabricated without evidence

and then this.

insurrection needs to be put down. literally our republic is at stake. the president cannot be trusted: he incited these people. Pence should invoke the 25th, and refuse to pardon trump.

So now Biden speaks. golden opportunity for Trump to flip the switch in the White House and talk over the top of him.
