H.R. 21 was introduced today, this resolution calls on Pence to invoke Amendment 25 immediately. however, as a pro forma session, one objection and it wasn't voted on. it was objected by a member of the sedition caucus
haven't introduced the articles yet, but the article of impeachment is INCITEMENT OF INSURRECTION. it says he is a threat to national security, democracy, and the Constitution
tomorrow there will be resolutions to expel members of congress (amendment 14 bans all people who give aid and comfort to insurrection from holding office) and possibly the impeachment

Pence announced he won't 25th
Pelosi announced impeachment managers
There's so little to say. They literally almost all died at Trump's command.

Final count 231 for impeachment, including 10 republicans, the highest total in history for an impeachment.
either this goes to the senate now, or it will probably be a long while. either way it hangs over the president for this last barely half a mooch in office. 20,000+ troops in the capitol will be ensuring he leaves, hopefully with no more coup attempts

Only 10 House Republicans supported impeachment. Leads me to think it's going to be very hard indeed to get the necessary 17 in the Senate to switch over and convict.

I'm surprised 10 House Republicans voted in favor. I didn't see who yet, but I would have to imagine they aren't from red heavy, Trump-loving districts.
Senate Republicans may be more sane, but I really doubt they are going to vote for removal. It still hurts the party and while a few may cross over and vote for it, I can't imagine it is going to be enough to actually remove him. Guess it all depends if they think such a move is going to help the GOP in the long run by distancing themselves from Trump or if it is still going to be party over country.
