Posted: Sat Nov 03, 2012 12:39 pmOne of the first times I went to the States, I noticed a warning on a Dr. Pepper bottle: "Contents under pressure. Do not open bottle close to face." I though "stupid Americans..." only to go home and find that warning on Canadian bottles just a few months later. It is amazing what people can sue and win for.

Posted: Sat Nov 03, 2012 1:36 pmwell, yes, some asshole did. but they didn't like drive a car off the top of a skyscraper or ramming a car into the side of a concrete wall so that the wall busts open or anything like the commercial that says "do not attempt". its that some asshole years ago did something on a commercial and sued about it so now they put "do not attempt" on everything even if it is so ridiculous no one would attempt and think it would be fine to do
