Uber, you bring up yet another reason we really need a better chat feature than this shoutbox. I know you keep treading away from it everytime anyone brings it up. If there's some hassle involved that you don't wanna go through maybe some of the members can help out?

You just want an IRC room, so you can sit in with your BRAHS away from prying eyes. You want one SOOO much, dude go set one up. Its not that hard or that expensive.

I like shout-box, its very Panopticon. I just think more people should use it, and the anti-spam feature could be turned down a bit.

It simply doesn't work (except for you but that's cause you talk to yourself). We need a real chatroom.

It works as a shoutbox, not as a chat. You may like that as it's so slow paced that you have plenty of time to look back and admire how brilliant the last thing you said to yourself was, but a chat is supposed to work in realtime.

People use it but the most you're likely to get is 2 people responding to each other in real time, and that's often not even the case.

Cause 4 or 5 or more people in a chatroom tend to give a more real time chatting experience.
