mini-Chat (shoutbox type) up and running.

Simply go to the Board Index and the chat is at the bottom of the page.

BTW please post any feedback/issues with the chatmod here.

I heard some people had a problem with chat showing up oddly - a page refresh should resolve the problem.

It doesn't render properly at all on Chrome, messes up the entire bottom of the page.

Did you try reloading the page? I had the same problem until I hit F5 and then it formatted properly.

any way to turn off the sound by default?

even if I don't have to log in, as long as I restart the browser. Auto update is set with sound.

Well it looks like its a setting in the User Control Panel. In the UCP, go to the mChat tab and set Enable mChat Sound to No. I'm going to play around with it a bit and make sure it does what its supposed to.

Thats funny I havent detected any sound in chat at all even though my settings are on.
