Teddy Roosevelt was bonkers. For all of his macho cowboy attitude, he thought it was a bright idea to bust up the railroad, steel, and oil trusts. What kind of cowboy attacks land for New England capital?
I never liked distributism. It encourages people to spread out for the sake of dispersion. It's Edmund Burke's "small is beautiful" conservatism gone haywire.
Not that I think hyperdense population is healthy, but when people can take the excuse of expecting people to spread out, that means social alienation becomes a self-fulfilling prophecy. Alienators can say people have to spread out anyway, so there's no problem alienating people to do so.
If I thank you, you'll have 72 hours to find something I say to thank me back.
Otherwise, it will be removed. I don't like snobs with bad manners who try to become internet celebrities.
