The trolls run this forum...

...I suppose this is the place to bring this up, but f*ck it. Does anyone seriously think trolls don't run this forum? Sure, forums lose members for plenty of reasons, but PCF has a troll problem and it is hurting this forum community greatly. Curse me out all you want, I have given money to this forum and want to continue to do so because I feel the discourse here is far superior to most found on internet forums elsewhere, but not in its current state and current membership. We have what, ten regular posters? How many of other former regularly active members, like myself, have simply given up and moved on? Let the trolling commence.

Are you a member of any other political forums? Because I can assure you that if PCF has a problem, it's absolutely miniscule compared to other forums.

The problem is that everyone has a different opinion of who the worst trolls are. You're talking about exploited and Dylan if I'm correct, while others would say Saz is the problem, some would say it's me, some would say it's Comrade, Mr. Shaman, Southern Dad, Spider, Indy, etc etc.

How do we address this? If we had to come to a consensus on posters who aren't a problem this list probably reads eynon galt and menson.

I am speaking in general and it includes Exploited. I have been a PCF member for almost ten years, have given nearly $400 of my own money towards the several iterations of PCF over those same years, etc. and this forum is sad anymore. I get trolling, betas have to flex muscles somehow, but at this scale it ruins a forum and it is clearly hurting our membership numbers. Yes Ex, I am a member of plenty of forums covering dif topics from politics, sports, astronomy, etc.. Every single one of them has trolls, difference is the trolls don't run those forums like they do this one.

Philly, I consider Saz and yourself far less of trolls then Exploited. I rarely post these days, personal issues aside, because of posters such as him. He literally makes it annoying to be on an internet forum and his type destroy forum communities. Who wants to post a response to one of his opinions if he's going to immediately call them names in a public forum? Or Dylan too for that matter?

For one, keep the rib-jabbing to the VIP lounge. Don't make name calling and insulting a thing reg done in public forums. Don't call people dumb when they simply disagree with you in a public forum. Want to vent on a poster, not that you should be that bothered by anyone on here, do it in a PM or in the VIP area. Do new members want their first PCF forum experience to be Dylan and Ex telling me to kill myself?

I find it really interesting that somebody would be unaware of his own behavior to such an extent that he would start a troll post in order to specifically accuse others of trolling.

A much larger problem in our community is the constant barrage of shit posts like this, directed at Mr. Shaman or Philly or myself. Frankly it's incredibly immature. You have the option of adding any poster to your foes list. Instructions for doing so have already been posted. Rather than bog down the forum with more innane, whiny crap, why not exercise the ability you've always had to ignore people?
