FYI more than anything else in case there is a problem and the site goes down temporarily.

At some point this week, we will be upgrading the PHP version on the server so as to update the board code to the latest version. We don't expect any problems but that is usually when things blow up.

If the site does go down, keep an eye on our Facebook page for status updates.

PHP version updated. Everything seems to be ok. Please let me know in this thread if anyone encounters anything odd. We'll be updating to a new version of the board code soonish.

Is the upgrade something visible to us or just back end stuff?

Just backend. Should be no visible changes on the forum. Its the code base for PHPBB.

Might be some changes with the next board update when we get that done at some point this week.

upgrading phpBB on testing site tonight. should have no impact on this site.
