well i think he's right that it's a restriction of a liberty. but these are public roads that the state maintains and safety is a legit concern
i'm not sure it's even worth talking about at this point... the kids born today will grow up in a world where robot cars will take them to their destination. they can text and play video games and whatever the hell they'll do in 15 years while in any seat in a car since the car is doing everything for them. we'll be discussing removing their ability to drive all together, in favor of safer robots, rather than raising the driving age
