Why should the US put boots on the ground in Jordan considering it put 'Boots on the ground' for nearly ten years in Iraq to prevent a situation which would warrant more 'boots on the ground'
Doing so wouldn't really make much difference, kind of like when the Marine Barracks got bombed in Lebanon, the civil war in Lebanon continued unabated.
