Not to mention the US WASP past history of race hatred, slavery, genocide, and imperialism that everyone is well acquainted with.

The South, as you pointed out, isn't running anything today. It's all WASPy these days so that is irrelevant. And jews are hardly the only religious minority out there. (not to mention, many are opposed to these types of displays because they do indeed find them offensive. Perhaps not swastika offensive but offensive nonetheless, as it implies that Christianity is the official religion of the state.)

Actually we should be more concerned with seperation of corporations and state. Church and state was simple, no official state/govt sanctioned religions.
The hardest part of doing nothing is knowing when your done.
