Imagine you live around the time of WWII and you're a spy for the Allied forces. You have your current morale stance, but you do not have your current knowledge of history. Also if you don't look like you can blend in as a German, pretend you do (so you don't look like you now).
Prior to the start of the war you were able to somehow infiltrate the Nazi ranks and supply the Allies with valuable information. Now the war has started and your superiors wanted to gather higher level intelligence. They have determined that you're one of the best at your job and planned on getting you higher up the Nazi ranks to gather even more valuable information. Of course, you don't just rise through the Nazi ranks without appearing as a good Nazi. So you're going to have to do the Nazi's bidding and promote Nazi propaganda, kill a few people for the Nazis, etc etc.
You're fairly certain that your superiors are not Nazi spies and that they believe what you'll be doing is truly going to help the Allies. But you're not sure how much of the intelligence you supply will actually be acted upon. You may supply good intelligence and they might just sit on it because they don't want the Nazis to suspect that there is a mole. You're also not sure whether the Allies will eventually win the war. You're also not sure how long you're going to live, so there is a chance that you end up spending your life doing the Nazi's bidding and promoting Nazi propaganda and you get killed in an Allied airstrike.
But despite all this, your superiors think that you'll be good at it and that your efforts can greatly help the Allied war effort. Would you accept this mission?
