Well in a parliamentary system you'd basically be voting for congress, and choosing which party's leader you want to be president. I prefer this system because it means the president and congress are of the same coalition. This is now preferable because we're no longer able to function with divided government.

Parliamentary procedure is way better, especially when coupled with proportional representation.

i disagree. executive and legislative should be separated, but instead of democratic election of the president it should be indirect election of electors who are forbidden for speaking publicly about who they would elect themselves. imperialists and their ass-lickers like canadians fuse power. the more civilized among us know that leads to tyranny
