It would be pretty interesting. CPD says he has to get at least 15% in 5(?) legit national polls, and he's been pulling 10% so far. He's also going to be on the ballot in all 50 states and the district....so its technically pretty possible to get him into the debates. With Trump and Clinton both being underhumans with historically wretched numbers...could be interesting. I think he got less than 1% of votes last time, and I'm not sure who he would pull more votes from if he got camera time...but in principle it would be pretty great to have him up there.

Best way to do away with a 2-party system? Get rid of party primaries. Imagine the choices you'd have if you went to the voting booth, and got to choose from anyone who got more than 5000 signatures. You'd be able to select from 3-4 Republicans, 3-4 Democrats, and 5-6 "other" parties. It'd be great. And, then the top 2 people head into a runoff, regardless of party. You could have a D vs R, a D vs D, and R vs R, or even a couple of "others' versus each other.
