I ran an insulated flex hose from the dryer to under the house to keep water pipes from freezing. Works pretty good. As for microscopic particles, yes, they are everywhere.

Today its almost 100 degrees here in the cornfields, so that dryer tube is disconnected. However it will eventually be a frozen tundra here in the cornfields again, and the tube reconnected.

So you ran a line from your clothes dryer, underneath your house, and are using that to keep your water pipes from freezing during the winter?

Won't they only keep the water from freezing when the dryer is running? Are you going to run your dryer 3-4 hours per night, every night?
