This is why I hate AIPAC. Not because they wield a lot of power (all lobbying groups aspire to do so) or because I have some tinfoil fear of zionist overlords.
I hate AIPAC because they have their agenda, which represents what SOME in Israel want and what SOME see as the best interests of Israel, yet they act is if they and they alone speak on behalf of all of Israel. Then they start throwing really ugly accusations at anyone who has other ideas about Israel's interests.

I doubt Israel is enough to convince Republicans to eat one of their own. Besides, it's a bit of a stretch to label all things Iran as automatically related to Israel. The world doesn't revolve around Israel.
