People with guns usually just wouldnt draw their weapons and start firing. Most people trained in gun safety would seek cover first. Then again, it looks like the suspect wanted suicide by cop since he just pointed his weapon at them without firing but the cops ended up wounding 9 other bystanders in order to get him- looks like Bloomberg's Keystone cops need to train more at the gun range.

This shootout lasted all of 8 seconds.. That's it..

I think it's going to come out that many of the injured were hit by ricocheting bullets. Because like I said earlier, with 10's of thousands of bystanders in an area, I don't care who's firing, if a shootout happens, there's no doubt some of the bystanders are going to be hit.
