well texas must be spared the infestation that the northlands all have of deer. in wisconsin you have to earn a buck -- you have to shoot a doe before you can take a buck
i don't know why you care that some parts of an animal go for cheaper price than what you think it's worth. it's japanese buinsess what industries they prop up. i only care about the idiocy of banning whaling. dead whales are extremely useful, mainly in their lubrication applications. the hubble runs on dead whales.
more dead whales == more space lubricant. more space lubricant == more space travel. more space travel == awesome.
conclusion: kill whales
you have to look at it this say: what do whales do for you? well, they provide lubricant. i think their population needs to be stable enough IN ORDER to hunt them, not just so they can keep on living unmolested. as these populations of individuals are so large, why not?
also the designation of the area as a "whale sanctuary" was unilateral and did not ask the japanese input. when they complained the appeal was denied without looking at it. as i've said, japanese should just withdraw from the organization and go hunt all the whales they want, instead of the small limited number they do now. that'll show you what happens when you are entirely unreasonable and don't allow some hunting.
