You know it's kind of ironic that many of the people here who say the Palestinians should peacefully submit or that they have less sympathy for the civilians because Hamas shot rockets are the same people I see in the gun threads saying they would never trust any government to treat people well who wouldn't defend themselves by force and that it's not fair for them to lose their guns just because someone else misused one.

They could do each other a favor and drop the religious differences. After that, not much sympathy from me when Palestine contributes to the conflict as much as Israel does. Who cares if their bombs are mostly ineffective? They're dropping bombs into another state. You think if Canada dropped bombs into the US that we wouldn't consider lobbing some back?

I never said Palestine should bend over. I said it would make things easier and being on their side an easy choice if they stopped being players to this conflict. Israel is a state and Palestine should be too. Having Hamas as your ruling party isn't going to make that happen. Lobbing qassam rockets into Israel isn't going to make that happen. Want me to see you as an actual victim of aggression? Don't start the aggression. What do they think Israel will do if they kidnap soldiers, lib bombs into its borders or kill Israeli settlers? They poke the dog until it strikes back then people like you expectedly take their side. It'd be different of Palestinians were not lobbing bombs and other shit and Israeli invaded them anyway.
