Indy, it's the principle of the matter, not the dollar amount. If Manning wants to live as a woman, he can do so, but don't expect me to fork over anything for his sex change. Whilst in jail, they are legally obligated to give him the necessary medical care he needs, not pay for elective surgeries so he can be a woman....and TBH where is all this him being a hero talk coming from? based on the reports I have read about the info he disseminated, he did it to get back at the Army after being mistreated by other soldiers for being gay and not to be some folk hero of the American public. He could give a shit about being a hero IMO. Not only that, but has anyone that has labeled him a hero even read the info he leaked? Do they even know what he leaked? Or are they just lifting their pom-poms when told to by the party brass?
