It's more infectious than the Flu and it may not be seasonal. It's also just another virus that would be in addition to the flu - so our next "flu season" might be our next "flu, cold, coronavirus" season.

Lol, what does it matter how the WH responds?
Political solutions are meaningless to biology. Travel bans and quarantines don't work. All we can do is monitor, treat and track. Unless they have ordered the CDC to back off, what exactly do you imagine the President can offer here? Self-assurance? Maybe stop stocks from crashing?
