You should be less concerned about Palestine, than the Nazi-esque rise of Isis in the centre of the Middle East, which is the biggest threat to Muslims in general and which has killed more people than Israel ever did in a shorter amount of time.

You guys talk about Western hypocrisy, yet blindly ignore an organisation whose mantra is the genocide of all heretical Shia Arabs/Anything which stands in its way.

A capture made possible...NOT because of The rockets, or because of the "terror tunnels", or because of a Hamas Charter or because of any other silly talking point Israel's defenders love to spout. But because Israel decided it needed to take risks and engage in a ground offensive.

So now, just like before, Israel will make an attempt to retrieve this captured soldier by force, and they'll fail. And then a year or so from now, they'll release about a thousand Palestinian prisoners in exchange for this soldier.

Again, those of you who think Israel is "smart" or "pragmatic" enough to solve the Hamas issue are really clueless. They're doing nothing different than before, Thus the results will be the same. And that's not very smart, is it.

The trouble is that the actual result is a bunch of dead Palestinians that needn't have died at all. How many more are going to die now over this captured soldier?

Their only playing right into Israel's hands with this stuff. This is not helping their cause. Its just creating a pile of bodies and zero progress towards a better lot for these people.

I love how you guys just keep on insisting that there is a smarter strategy for Hamas to take. What is it? And don't say Gandhi.

Seems to me that since the final result is the same no matter what they do, the smartest strategy is the one that generates the fewest casualties.
