Another thing that I thought was smart of the defense team. They got the Chief Investigator to admit that he had not found any evidence that would contradict Pistorias' version of events.
Now, I don't know South African law. But, here in America, if you can't disprove the defense's case, then it's going to be REALLY tough to prove your own beyond a reasonable doubt!!

Sigmund Freud defined four parts of a psyche; the id, the ego, the superego and the stratego. The Stratego being the highest form of morality and scientific thinking.

The law system isn't meant to catch every criminal, just the ones who are bad at it. That is the price we pay for personal liberty.
Point being, I think this douchebag probably did it on purpose, but he shouldn't be convicted of murder. Manslaughter for sure though.
