Actually, that is just retardedly stupid, and there is no other way to describe it.
I sell alot of basil. People know us for our basil. Therefore it is a reasonable assumption that a given customer wanted Basil.

You can also assume that I'm gonna buy a lighter. You see, that happens alot. People buy lighters with their smokes. So it is a safe assumption.
