And btw, one doesn't just set up their own mail server in order to disregard a rule. That requires thought and planning to do. If she had been using a gmail account or something on the other hand, you may have a point.

It's too bad Ladar Levison had to shut down Lavabit, or Hillary could have used it. Clearly, it was protected from prying eyes, or the Feds wouldn't have come after it and forced him to shut it down.

She did it to avoid having that shit hit with subpoenas and the FOIA (if FOIA is applicable to DoS correspondence, I dunno).
