(1) where did your initial storyline come from? Did you make thst up?
No, I thought it was a different video. Scenario I described obviously isn't this vid.
(2) per the article this was during a cease fire.
Yes, that's obviously the crux of the issue here. I think the IDF has some explaining to do, but it really doesn't alter my view of the conflict as everyone should have known both sides have done stuff like this since 2008.
(3) per the video he was shot several more times after being injured.
He was moving. Idk what to say, it's war.
(4) is it standard procedure to target unarmed individuals in civilian clothing? This was a single clean shot followed up by several other shots. Seems less of a "in war shit happens" and more of a civilian being intentionally killed.
Idk man, that's how half the fighters dress also. It's a war zone, and you are a fighting age male dressed as half the combatants, running around, without a vest like everyone else. It's sad he died knowing what we know now, but I doubt the sniper knew all that. Again, shit happens in war and I'm really not surprised the people fighting in it are callous and shoot to kill.
I guess my question for you is what does this change? To me, nothing. Another death among hundreds. All I take away from this is that it seems the Palestinians are bearing the brunt of this squabble, so maybe they should make a few more concessions to end it.
What different video? Can you link it?
So it's not relevant thst it's during a cease fire? Hamas launches rockets that have an infinitesimal chance of causing harm, which to you gives Israel carte Blanche to kill as many civilians as need be to protect even one israeli citizen. But a sniper shooting an unarmed person in a t shirt 3 times is....what? Meh? NBD? Sounds like you value Israeli citizens lives a lot more than Palestinians.
he was "moving" in the sense that he was rolling around dying. Is it typical ROE to finish off an unarmed individual struggling for life?
You've taken Israel's side so now you feel obligated to defend all of their actions blindly. That's how people end up apologizing for hamas.
Just so you know, yrkoon is on one side of the coin and you're on the other.
