Just curious, is this racist of me?
I was in a gas station store the other day in a bad neighborhood, and this young guy walks in with dreds sticking out from under a baseball cap pulled down low on his face, an XXXXXXXL FUBU T-shirt, and baggy pants sagging so low you could see underwear. He walks in and gives the cashier this hard look, then walks to the back of the store, constantly looking around and up at the ceiling. I figure that he's checking for cameras or something, so my radar is pinging. I decide that I'm gonna keep an eye on him, and a safe distance. As he walks to the front of the store, I moved to the back.
But, nothing happened. He grabbed a pack of smokes, paid and left.
Was it wrong of me to assume that he was going to be up to no good, just based on his appearance and actions?
