I am going to have to disagree on this one.

Religious bigots should feel free to deny service based upon gender, sexuality, race, etc. The only consequence should be denial of all public services, and the immediate levying of additional taxes to pay for those services subsidized by homosexuals, blacks or whatever disadvantaged group they prefer to oppress.

That's a fine compromise.

heh...this made my FB explode. Seems I'm in a minority of my FB friends when it comes to religious liberty.

Freedom to discriminate has always meant that you can discriminate and face no legal repercussions. I disagree with that.

If you decide to deny service based upon race, sexuality or gender, your business ought to be required to pay additional taxes, equal to the market worth of public services rendered, to be distributed back to all taxpaying citizens.

Alternatively, your store ought to be required to display a large gold star, clearly visible to the public, that let's consumers know a bigot owns the place.

also this thread is to illustrate that what many deemed to be "right wing propaganda" is turning out to be true.
