Ya, the hobbit trailer was good. A bit too over the top and 3D gimmicky, but eh, that's Peter Jackson. I used to adore the man, but lately he annoys me.

The last Hobbit movie stretched out some parts a bit, but the same was done with Lord of the Rings so I have to criticize it here too, even though the framerate was moved up. But the movie was good so I won't complain.

The framerate....gah. I had to watch on a smaller screen just to avoid the stupid godawful 48 FPS.

World War Z - 5/10

Meh. Lots of characters but very superficial so you cant really sympathize with anyone since they get killed quick. Very different zombies compared to the book. Brad Pitt can survive anything. Ending too open ended, seems they are gunning for a sequel as soon as this one makes dinero.

To do WWZ properly, as intended by the book, you'd need a good sized miniseries, and a screenwriter who thinks the audience has an attention span. I'm not even going to bother with the movie.
