well i never gave a definition of fascism so that is something completely made up in your head.

That spectrum of behaviors are aspects of the same type of psychological profile. When a group of individuals all fitting that personality type get together and express their views politically they naturally gravitate toward fascism because it is an organizational structure of the kind that type craves.

The authoritarian is an unstable personality so they crave order above all else and the crude methods associated with this ideology are the fastest and easiest way to achieve that end. Other people may disrupt the order so they have to be rigorously controlled. The economy has to be rigorously controlled. Women and minorities have to be controlled. et al

The economic details of the ideology are incidental to satisfying this criteria and thus, for the purpose called for here, quite irrelevant.

I really consider it almost a form of mass hysteria. It's basically a society dominated by a cadre of extremely committed and organized individuals who are manically obsessed with achieving an extreme concept of social order and who have no qualms about doing whatever has to be done to realize this goal in the shortest time possible.

That's why these societies always self destruct in the end. It's a form of collective insanity and is thus completely unstable, ironically.
