It isn't the government it is the legal profession declaring themselves and their absurd games as ruler of all.

The explanation given was a ludicrous piece of legal chicanery.... 'well he didn't stand up, say he was invoking his right to remain silent and then spin round three times with his fingers crossed therefore.......'

I'm not sure how the decision changed the existing law, if you are talking to the cops "voluntarily" they can use it all against you. This is how they f**k my clients over and over and over again. This case wasn't even that egregious because the facts seem to show that he went to the police station of his own accord to talk to the cops and then volunteered his shot-gun up again of his own accord.

The moral of the story is never speak to the police...ever.

It just seems that all branches of gov't are just going to hell: congress for sure, the White House two losers in a row, now the Supremes.

I think of our legal system and how "free" we really are with so many people in prison and so many wrongly convicted and the NSA cut loose like that.

Or then you see stuff like the West Memphis Three and wonder: how does this even happen here?
