But when I first found out about atoms, I used to imagine the sun as being a nucleus in an atom and the earth was an electron going round it.

For some,evidence or lack of it means nothing. The simply believe what the govt says to believe. To me, those types are just human drone's,perfect candidates for brainwashing. The govt is not likely to acknowledge things it don't understand or can't control. Thats just basic human ego 101.

Unless we find a way to reignite the nuclear fusion processes or capture the Earth in a thermal sphere and move it safely out of the way when the sun balloons outwards.
