Any human being with a conscious should selectively abide by laws they find moral. If your job effectively destroys the lives of others because they like to smoke a plant, or crack open a beer before turning 21, you are a horrible human being.
Police officers who rounded up Jews because it was an order from higher-ups were scum, too. They should have judged the laws inane and either not followed orders or quit.
Legalism is pretty much the defining force behind fascism.
