There's been more than one article about how this "scandal" was a MASSIVE failing of the MSM and of course there's no retractions, no apologies, no assessment and of course no remorse from all the fauxrage merchants who flogged it to death for months without bothering to verify the claims.

There literally was no there, there.

It was 100% bullshit.

Had anybody bothered to even do the most basic investigation, it would have killed the story.

Issa should have been run out of town for trying to suppress information that showed it was nothing.

But at this point politics is nothing more than who can make gossip stick, true or not.
