And yea, you don't have to remind me that those fat asses in Wal Mart are not starving because of food stamps. I saw one ring up over 200 dollars of groceries, all on food stamps. I had 45 dollars of bread, cheese and milk in my basket, because I actually have to work for a living and didn't even know where I was going to get the money to pay for that. They had all kinds of fancy meats, steaks, etc. I had a pack of off brand hot dogs.

Yea, don't remind me about the f**k food stamps. When she finally got done checking out I was soooo close to saying "you're welcome!" but I held my breath.

The world, markets, and rescources are not infinite, and neither can be our population. We never asked ourselves, when does excess become so excessive it becomes absured? Millions (many productive) scrape by or live in poverty so a few others can have absured excess. We pay millions to someone to throw a ball through a hoop, then wonder why others are shot in the head for their pocket change. Mankind has no real plan, we live in the state of la-de-da, searching for the land of duh. Only in the grave do we find the equality we search for during life.

The peasents must be kept just far enough from the edge of desperation so they won't revolt. So thats probably why welfare was created. I still san't believe the dumbasses didn't understand their capitalistic world would not endure in a finite world. But after all the wealth has been collected in a few large piles (it has), then it really don't matter.

Anyway besides to huge hit to our society, and economy another point would be if all food assistance is cut off crime would go sky high.. Which means more cops, more jails, more feeding and housing and clothing prisoners.. Etc.... Many, MANY billions of $'s..

Unless of course we're willing to throw away the Constitution and fair trials, inhuman treatment, etc..
