Of course the feds should intervene. I need not point out 300 years of american history that has proven the south is by and large incpaible of properly protecting the civil rights of african-americans.

Zim's big worry IMO will be the civil suit, not anything the JD will bring against him..
I've sat on a civil suit jury.. Compared to a criminal trial evidence wasn't a huge concern..Also here in NY civil suit case you only need 5 out of 6 vote.. Not all 6... I'm not sure if Fla. is different..

If Zimmerman was black, this thread would not exist because the story would not exist. So for the sake of simplicity, pass a law that states any crime commited aginst a black by a non black automatically qualifies as racial. See wasn't that easy,lol.

Stand Your Ground will protect Zimmerman from civil suits. Incredibly unlikely DOJ will do anything. Zimmerman is now free to write books and speak at NRA events for the rest of his life.
