FYI, the juror that came out and spoke (B-37) said that all the jurors agreed that they believed that Zimmerman would have followed anyone that night that was acting in the same way. If 6 jurors thought it wasn't about race, and the prosecution never even brought up the word "racial", then I think there is little to no evidence even suggesting that it was racially motivated.
Zimmerman will get sued in civil court. Unless the judge has cajones the size of Texas, I can't see him/her throwing it out, even if she/he thinks it'll be unsuccessful.
If I were Zimmerman, I'd move to England or some other country. I know that criminal proceedings can take place when a defendant is out of the country (and whereabouts are known), and there can even be extradition proceedings. But, can the US compel someone to pay a civil judgment if they are out of the country?
