Gun control is just a knee jerk reaction every time something happens. In this case, a gun possibly saved an innocent man's life. If all the guns vanished, crime would not. People would just use knives, clubs, rocks, or whatever.Like I said earlier, if both players were black, this wouldn't even be a story. Where is Jackson and Sharpton's( both professional racist's imo) input on all the black on black violence?

It's hilarious how certain epople love to call out black leaders (although shapton and jackson are by and large charlatans) for not doing enough to limit black crime, when the single biggest thing that would reduce it are urban gun control and the legalization and regulation of various classes of drugs.

Again, when republicans and predomantly white epople preach about civil liberties and the second amendement, the practical result is that more black people are going to die, and are going to be jailed, in america's poorest neigbhorhoods. Gun control isn't a knee jerk reaction, its an obvious solution that is held hostage to a paragraph in a 300 year old document. This is just opportunism to do the obvious.
