When people who believe all that rah rah nationalsitic BS see their illusion that they are the good guys shattered before their eyes is pretty hard to take.

There is nothing legitimate about warfare, whatsoever. It's organized murder, plain and simple.

Strange because prior to Vietnam we didnt hear stories on PTSD that much, seems the "greatest generation" was able to cope with war better than the present ones.

What pisses me off to no end is everytime I turn on the TV some one is honoring the people who serve and the Vets, and that's fine, but the reality is once this guys come home no one in the government gives a sh%t about them.

I'll never forgot back in 2006-2007 or so when guys were coming home from Iraq without limbs and all F'ed up the VA and government was soooooo incompetent and had so little interest in helping them that a bunch of rich people in NYC, and elsewhere had to raise 10's of millions of $'s to build a re-hab center in Texas for the Vets.. There guys were coming home with no arms and legs and had to go to a PRIVATE center to get the real help they needed.. The government didn't kick in a F'ing dime..

Bastards politicians started the war but once these guys got home they were forgotten. Except of course when to look good one of these phony politicians would 'honor' them..

They motivate them to serve a dubious cause with no clear goals, save 'killing terrorists' that threaten America from their mud huts and caves.

They put them in a meat grinder, chew them up, spit them out, give them a medal for their service and treat them like 2nd class citizens.
