Did you watch the video, Professor. SHE is the one running on her family "Heritage", though not her father's side, but you would have to know that The Dick's family didn't move here until his childhood to know that. BTW, her last name is Perry, not Cheney. SHE is the one choosing to run on her father's name. She isn't even a Wyomingite. She just moved here a year ago to pull a Hillary from NY. The rest is just a regurgitation of Fox News Talking Points. The only "corner" of this state that family associates with is the upper northwest corner were the excessively wealthy(think top .001%) go to claim residence and kick back in Jackson Hole.

Mo, those are some great points. They all point to her. I certainly don't mind anyone even going so far as to say that she is stupid for linking herself to her father. But, instead of saying that you opposed Dick's support of interrogation techniques, say that you oppose her support of Dick's interrogation techniques.

I don't know her, and am not defending her. Frankly, of all the people here, it's only Mo's problem. Or, at least, Mo is the only one in a position to do anything about it.

Well you have a point about Bush Prof, but problem is: he was WORSE than his dad. Hell I'd take his dad back any day after that.

What I could never understand was: why Pops didn't step in and offer advice a few times. And: how could Dubya not inherit SOME skill from Dad in running the country?

But then we realized Dubya probably was doing the opposite of what his father would do because of some sort of daddy issue.

That, and Cheney was actually president.

Actually, Professor, you are in a better position to do something about it than I am. I am just one voter in a state where I am outnumbered 3 to 1 and you have far more money and political connections than I do. I do well to donate $50 to the primary and general Governor's races. These races are not funded and run on In-State money. Hell, there's too much Out of State money going into the State races for an actual Wyoming Voter to overcome. However, I will be changing my registration to Republican so I can vote in the primary.

Liz Cheney has been a non-stop defender of her father and specifically his policies so I'm not really buying the whole she's-being-unfairly-typecast argument.
