LOL seriously? Interactions by individuals are handled by through law are they? Am I hearing you correctly? From the people who exempt individual interactions from... universal background checks because they're... interactions between individuals.
Actually my idea doesn't have several huge flaws, only endless hypotheticals being thrown at me by people who have no problem selling guns and explosives to terrorists, under the demented theory that any system of checks--even if VOLUNTARY by the sellers--is an assault on their "right." You also have all made abundantly clear that your "right" trumps every other right (as if there are no others to be considered) and in many instances you're using gun purchasing as some sort of proxy to exercise your rabid anti-gov't views, hence all the insane conspiracy theories whenever we talk about how to manage guns in this country.
You all puff out your chests about what big patriots and liberty defenders you are but that ends with you owning your guns. As we've seen most pathetically the last couple of years, the people who are stealing your liberties could give a shit how many guns you have because they know you'll never use them except to shoot each other. You'll march with them at Tea Party rallies or on... Houston police stations to fight the "fascism" that people like Comrade troll about but dayum you were MIA when things like the Patriot Act came down, when Wall St. crushed your economy, took your jobs and homes illegally and overtook your gov't. Last time I checked none of you were marching around in front of the NSA. But hey don't think about that at your next gun show when you're fondling each others' barrels!
The bad actors taking over this country have realized that giving you your guns is giving you a pacifier before they put you back in the crib in which you now lie.
BTW, as far as your latest objection that the TWL is "classified"? I didn't say hand out the list to all gun sellers--you could have them call in/send in the buyer's info, just like a background check. The only info they would get is yes/no. See? Another bogus objection obliterated. Again.
You've proven my point, which I knew you would when I started this: the only thing that matters to you is free and easy access to guns, no matter who we're talking about. You don't care about the consequences, even if it literally means selling them to terrorists. You don't want anybody to put any restrictions on doing what feels good to you, and you refuse any consequences, either legal or in this case, even social. In other words, ultra-liberalism.
More irony. What a surprise.
