The real problem is the way this has been painted as a racial issue. Under any other circumstance Zimmerman, a relatively dark-skinned "mulato" type, would've been considered a "POC" by all the handwringing social justice warrior types and the racist right-wingers. It's pretty confusing to me as an outsider how exactly he became a poster child for "white" racism. It's like the media just started spewing that narrative based on his name (which sounds german or something) then never went back on it because they realized it was a golden opportunity for ratings. Interracial violence between hispanics and blacks, who gives a shit right. Racial violence between minorities is like, not important at all and not representative of racism in the country, no matter how large a percentage of violent crime it represents. But white on black? ZOMG institutional racism! Priviledge! Fits in perfectly with what my college anthropology professor taught me, so it must be true! etc, etc.

If I were in the exact same scenario from my POV(being followed, then confronting, then being shot by my stalker), as a "tiny, little woman", George's ass would have been up the river. But, I'm a "tiny, little WHITE woman" and I ainna gotta put up with that shit,so when I asked him, "What the hell do you want." The kitty little Cop Wannabe probably would have peed his pants and curled up in the fetal position. And, if he did shoot me, everyone would be screaming to fry the Spic for killing a working, white,(we won't actually say White outloud, but just run my pic enough to show I am), mother so innocently shot down on her way to her own home.

Got a serious question. I'm really not trying to allege anything, I'm just asking if anyone saw any police investigation into the matter.

TM was found with stolen women's jewelry in the recent past. Zimmerman said that he was looking into windows of houses as he walked through the neighborhood. And, "young, black males" had recently (past 15 months, and as recently as 24 days before the TM killing) broken into 8 houses in the neighborhood and stolen items. These are facts and are undisputed.

Was there any investigation to see if TM was one of the "young, black men" that had broken into houses, or if he was somehow connected with those robberies (accepted stolen goods from them)? Were his fingerprints run against the prints found at one of the previous crime scenes? Was the stolen jewelry ever investigated to see if it matched any of the items stolen? For that matter, whose jewelry was it?
