How in the world can anyone be called a creep before the decrepit mother? She has the worst sense of social responsibility of all.

If anything's uncreepy, it's separating the neglected child.

If anything's really creepy, it's sympathizing with the decrepit mother. You have to be out of your mind to think or even say there's a problem here.

Calling the police is even creepier than that. The very existence of cops to handle social welfare is creepy because you're jumping to enforcement.

A creep is someone who takes action slowly without getting to know the people involved.

Rectifying the situation in a decisive manner is the exact opposite.

@ lil bit. Under UK & US law, it's only kidnapping if it's against the consent of the person who's taken. In Em's scenario, the child was happy to leave with the other people, the only question is if a 4 year old can give true consent due to their age.
