The porn industry is slowly and surely dying out in favour of content creators, just like the music and book industries. Self-produced porn, feminist porn, amateur porn swap sites... these are growing leaps and bounds, as are cam sites. The problems associated with the industry will become less and less relevant as time goes on, because the porn stars themselves will be calling the shots and making the profit.
So, I disagree entirely. Things are getting better on that front.
