The story smells fishy. A snake kills to eat. If it killed the one boy it would have fed and been full. Why would it kill then abandon the first boy then kill the second and not feed on either child. Unless we have a sociopathic snake murderer scenario I think there is more to this story. And who lets their two young boys "sleep over" at a grown (snake weirdo) man's apartment? Their was no mention of a wife or his own kids thast I've read. And the ventilation ducts? Those are closed systems with vent covers usually. How does a snake get in on the ground floor (maybe the python had a screw driver on him)? Then go vertically to the second floor in the ductwork and find an opening in the ducts to get on top of a ceiling and fall through to constrict two kids to death and then not feed on the bodies? Maybe I'm jaded but this story makes no sense on a few levels.
