But that is true. It doesn't even say anything other than they don't want to be ostracized, which is the most common reaction when a person leaves any conservative religious group. My personal anecdotes are just that: anecdotes. Which is why I base my broader opinions on facts, which come from reputable polling and media organizations.

My opinion has always been that we need to limit immigration to gay, minority or politically persecuted Muslims, those who are religious but have secular values. How that can be interpreted as bigoted is truly beyond all logic.

We played a large role in it's creation, absolutely. I don't deny that role - I deny the idea that those with such beliefs will integrate into Western society. Because they won't, and their children will be even more radical, as all the evidence shows.
