The world is in overdrive, it needs to seek sustainability, and abandon the illusion of perpetual growth. We can seek it ourselves, or the concept of finite will seek it for us. As for the ageless human bickering, We have made our world so small technology speaking, that those days are probably numbered. Our choice will probably be this, we all learn to live together, or we'll probably all die together.

If society is a permanent hierarchy and nothing ever changes socially speaking how was that the serf class happened to overthrow the feudal order become the capitalist class, create the modern nation state, and assimilate nearly the entire world into it's mode of production?
Protip:The same way that a socialist mode of production will supplant the current productive order. As society continues to evolve we will gain proficiency in all the characteristics that define civilization. We are still fettered by a barbarous mode of production but that will change.
