The point was that there is no "worse race", especially when it comes to ingrained xenophobia and racism. I could make the exact same case for indians, persians, arabs, berbers, subsaharan-africans, mongols, turks, etc, etc..."modern" racism was only worse in that it was incredibly widespread and not only a local phenomenon, and thus had a larger impact, largely due to european colonialism extending to the entire globe. As far as the morality of it goes, it's indistinguishable from oldschool "xenophobia".
