The Giants game on Weds. the replacement Refs looked pretty good.. I didn't se a lot of the Jets game, but from what I saw the Refs did alright then too..

I'm now watching the Green Bay v San Fran game.. So far, it's 1/2 time. to put it nicely the Refs are having a rough game. Wow... One play about a second or 2 before the ball was snapped a 49'er offensive lineman stood-up, then backed-up and got in his pass blocking stance, but no flag was thrown..

A bunch of other no calls too..

Texans beat some ass today. I didn't get to watch the game as I was motorcycling home but I will make sure to find a nice radio station that broadcasts games on the internet so I can listen to it on my phone on the way home next time lol. I thought about watching it on my phone (which I can do), however I think watching TV while riding the motorcycle may not be a good combo. I need to find a way to project it in a small square in my visor on my helmet...

I saw the end of the Seahawks game.. Good ending..

Strange ending too, especially since the Seahawks got 4 timeouts in the 2nd half.

Da Bears! Finally we got an offense because Cutty's got Marshall- an elite wide receiver makes all the difference.

And the Packers lost so a good weekend, all in all.

Steelers/Broncos game was a classic case of the Steeler defense needing to get one stop and not being able to get it done. IMO if they stop Denver from scoring after going up 19-14, Steelers win. I thought the design of Haley's offense was solid, as the Steelers had open players on many passing plays, however the execution was simply not there. Contrast that to the Broncos who after 2 short drives to open the game, scored on every drive there after like clockwork. Thomas is a solid WR, but they even had Decker giving Steeler CBs fits by running crisp routes and executing plays. It could be me, but I think we'll see this season in a more complex offense how much of an elite QB Ben is. Can he adapt to complexity or does he need to play purely sandlot ball? Positives for Steelers is that it was week one, with plenty of games left and as I mentioned before Haley impressed me as the game went on with play calling, specifically going to short quick routes when 2 OL went down. The players simply have to execute better next week.

Ben's alright, but he's not an elite QB.

Speaking of not-elite QB's, Vick is lucky as hell to get out of Week 1 with a win. The Eagles will need to step it up or they're sure to get straight up rocked in divisional play this season. NFC East is no joke.

After that Saints game, I am even more pissed the Rams wouldn't accept our 3 first rounders (which were higher than Washingtons) but accepted a lesser offer.

Steelers cant win in mile high. Its like their defense is completely different without Ryan Clark (he has anemia therefore cant play @ Denver)

So what was that Buffalo about that vaunted defensive line of yours. Some no name kept Mario Williams quiet all game. Also, Ryan Fitzpatrick needs to realize he has less arm strength than my mom. Stop attempting passes your arm cant

Rams and Browns showed why they are bottom dwellers. Had two playoff teams on the ropes and blow a lead.

Did Alex Smith really outplay A-Rod. It only took 7 years, but welcome to the land of the not a giant bust.
