Face facts your claim that 30K deaths is adequate justification for a police state went down in flames, where it belongs. Far more people die from childhood ailments etc.

Furthermore your idea to use combat troops to battle "street gangs" is patently ridiculous and complete and utter nonsense. Childish is the best word to describe it. The last thing I want is soldiers shooting the place up for something completely ridiculous. Cops already do enough of that already, they don't need the military to help them to shoot dogs and innocent people in the back. They are doing a good job of that already by themselves.
